Airport Terminal & Control Tower, Sikkim
The Airport Terminal and Control Tower in Sikkim, completed for the Airports Authority of India, is a landmark addition to the state’s air travel infrastructure. As one of the five highest airports in India and the country’s first greenfield airport, it has been designed with a focus on efficient passenger handling and includes a control tower to enhance traffic management. Built with the state’s unique geography in mind, the airport opens new travel avenues for Sikkim, supporting tourism and local commerce.
